From Imposter to Innovator: The Three C’s That Transformed My Entrepreneurship Journey
I sit here in contemplation, looking back at the winding, unpredictable path of entrepreneurship. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that this journey is never a straight line. It’s a chaotic mix of breakthroughs and breakdowns, wins and lessons (never losses), and moments of pure inspiration tangled with moments of complete doubt.
Through it all, I’ve realized that three core principles—communication, Creation, and Consistency—have shaped not only my success but also the way I build relationships, grow businesses, and navigate challenges. These three Cs are the backbone of every thriving venture and every strong team.
1. Communication: The Foundation of Success
If you can’t communicate what you do, why you do it, or where you stand, you’ll always struggle to gain traction. I learned early on that clear, confident communication is the foundation of growth—whether you’re leading a team, pitching an idea, or simply advocating for yourself.
Too often, we let self-doubt silence us. We assume our ideas aren’t ready or that someone else knows better. But as William Butler Yeats wrote in The Second Coming:
“The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity.”
Let’s change that. Let’s be the ones who communicate boldly and share our visions unapologetically. The world doesn’t need another echo chamber of doubt. It requires your voice. Toss your imposter syndrome to the side and speak up—you never know whose life you might change in the process.
2. Creation: Fueling the Fire
Creation is what drives me. It’s what fuels my passion, my purpose, and my progress. The beauty of creation is that it’s limitless—there’s no right way to build something extraordinary.
I’ve channeled this mindset into every aspect of my life. From rebuilding RVs and hacking growth strategies for startups to launching guerrilla marketing campaigns that flipped entire industries on their heads, I’ve learned that success doesn’t come from following a formula—it comes from creating your own.
Entrepreneur and thought leader Lloyed Lobo speaks about three key factors that drive success:
Visibility – Being seen, showing up, and making your brand known.
Credibility – Building trust, proving your value, and delivering on promises.
Profitability – Turning ideas into sustainable, revenue-generating ventures.
If you can master these three elements, you can turn any dream into reality. But creation doesn’t happen by accident—it requires consistency.
3. Consistency: The Ultimate Differentiator
Consistency separates those who talk about success from those who achieve it. Ideas are great, but execution is everything. And execution doesn’t happen overnight—it happens day after day, even when motivation is low.
As marketers, entrepreneurs, and growth hackers, we know strategies change constantly. What works today might flop tomorrow. However, staying adaptable while remaining consistent in your efforts is the key to long-term impact.
For me, consistency has meant:
Showing up, even when results aren’t immediate.
Honing my skills, even when no one is watching.
Committing to my vision, even when doubt creeps in.
Consistency isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. And in a world that glorifies overnight success, the real winners are those who stay the course when others quit.
Finding Freedom in the Hustle
Entrepreneurship is demanding, but it doesn’t have to be isolating. One of the biggest game-changers in my journey has been finding a community that shares my values and drive—a space where I can push myself, create freely, and feel understood.
That’s why I love being part of Authentic Rebel and my new endeavor, Birdie Bestie. It’s not just about building businesses; it’s about building movements. It’s about giving underdogs a voice, breaking the mold, and redefining success on our own terms.
At the end of the day, the three C’s—Communication, Creation, and Consistency—aren’t just business strategies. They’re life strategies. They shape how we grow, how we connect, and how we build something that lasts.
So, if you’re walking this entrepreneurial path, lean into these three C’s and trust the process. Your success won’t be a straight line—but it’ll be one hell of a ride.
